The Downstairs Rooms:

  • The Large Triple Aspect Lounge / Dining Room has a traditional open fire ( wood available ) and french door to garden, with lovely views across the garden to the mountains beyond. There is a widescreen TV with surround sound, DVD and video, with a selection of DVDs and videos.

  • There is also a Double Aspect Games Room with snooker table and real fire, and plenty of board games, puzzles and books, dolls' house and piano to keep young and old amused.
  • The Farmhouse Kitchen is the true heart of the house. A traditional Aga sits comfortably in the old fireplace, there is a pine table and chairs, and beautiful views across the garden down to Findhorn Bay and the Moray Firth. Additional cooking facilities include gas oven and hob, and microwave. There is also a dishwasher, fridge and TV in the kitchen; with freezer, and (shared) laundry facilities in nearby outbuildings.
The Upstairs Rooms:

  • The Master Suite with king size bed, has a double dormer window looking over the front garden and woodland beyond. The adjoining newly fitted ensuite has large shower with body jets, wash basin and WC.

  • The Family Room with en suite has one double bed and one single bed and can be used as a double, family or twin room, according to your needs. This room also has a double dormer window overlooking the front garden and the woodland beyond.

  • A second Spacious Family Room, can again be used as a double, family or twin room. This room is double aspect, with a small traditional window to the side, and a large skylight, giving wonderful views to the sea and the Black Isle beyond. Comfortably furnished with an oak double bed and additional single bed, this is a lovely light room.

  • The Twin Room has a charming original sash window to the side, overlooking the garden, and is equipped with twin beds and plenty of storage.

  • The Family Bathroom is traditionally fitted with tongue and groove panelling, cast iron bath, basin and WC. A large skylight ensures this room is light and airy with yet more views across the countryside to the coast and the mountains beyond.

The Garden:
    This is extensive with large lawns and a formal garden, all with far reaching views of the mountains, sea and countryside. There are picnic tables on the lawn and also table and chairs on an attractive gravelled patio with french door to the kitchen - perfect for that early morning cup of coffee, or leisurely breakfast. There is a barbecue for al fresco cooking.
This is our beloved family home, and we aim to make you feel at home here. We provide a welcome tea tray, plus basket of seasonal home/local produce for your arrival. This varies according to what is in season, but will always include eggs from our own free range hens. Additional produce is available during your stay, and if you are short on space for the journey, we can arrange for groceries to be waiting for you on your arrival.
